Birthday Bash

We celebrated Jensen's 4th Birthday on Monday (bc Chad will be at scout camp on his real bday the 19th). It was such a fun day. We went to lunch and then had a family party that night. Erika, Chad, Jay, Paul, Markie and Abbie were all there for the festivities. 

After I love you's and presents a fireman came to our door asking for the birthday boy. Jensen had his fireman boots on and the fireman asked if he would take a ride on his fire truck. Jensen was awestruck and speechless. Chad went with them. They drove around the block and Jensen got to turn on the siren, the lights, and use the head gear and talk back and forth to Chad on it and hear the radio calls. Everyone was outside when they got back cheering. He gave him a fireman hat. Then we have a retention area next to our house and he sprayed everyone with the hose. It was so fun to have Jensen feel so special and all the older boys even enjoyed getting sprayed. They couldn't believe how much water was shooting out (500 gallons a minute). 

(The fireman was our neighbor, and he was so so sweet to Jensen the whole time and made him feel so special. Chad said he kept saying stuff like, "how old are you Jensen...only 4 year olds are allowed on my truck...)
Jay was so funny he said," well how do you top this i guess next year you need to find an astronaut with a spaceship." Jay got Jensen fireworks and we set them off when it got dark, but he kept saying, well so much for that it wasn't a fire truck.

Bday breakfast!

Uncle Jay has a beard right now and Jaylee was enthralled with it, so Jay took the liberty to giving Jaylee a beard so she could look just like him.
